I’m a lifestyle and food photographer/director with a cinematic and emotive style focusing on natural moments. We all know brands have a real desire to show authentic moments. To do this they need photographers and directors that can deliver that, often in manufactured situations. Much of my personal work revolves around shooting genuine moments that show how we connect with each other as humans. Commercially my aim is to achieve this same naturalness for an emotive result. A wonderful validation of this desire has been the success of a short film I directed called ‘Longing’. At it’s heart it is film about how we connect, and has garnered awards in London, New York and recently received an award in the Sydney Indie Film Festival for Best Feel Good Film, (including a nomination for Best Director).
Over a long career I've shot for many of the largest brands, working in Australia, Asia, Europe, and the USA, have been recognised by international awards in advertising, photography, and recently for my directorial debut short film 'LONGING'.
